Explain the meaning behind your username.

I collect Zippo cigarette lighters. One of the lighters in my collection is an advertisement for a fictional brand of motor oil...Limey Johnson Motor Oil.

The lighter is one of my favorites in my collection, and chose that as my username here.

Ive been enjoying seeing new places via mt bike since the early 90's. I used to walk into a shop for trail info and get some help, but often miss a detail or 2. Like unplanned ride extensions of epic proportion Confused
When some of my destinations clubs went online I'd sign in as pedaler845 and glean some local knowledge, sometimes even a tour guide.
A great way to pay 'em back and see the local flora and fauna is to offer up some trail maintenance. Idea
I'll be thrilled to see this switchback I helped http://www.evma.org/ with soon:

Creseis is a species of pteropod, which is a swimming snail in the ocean, also called "sea butterflies." Part of my MS is about these little buggers.

I figured Mountain_Biker would be too obvious. Laughing

Forest came from MTBing in Rhode Island since 94. The highest point near Providence was the landfill so most of the rides were in the forests. You couldn't really call'em mountains. Wink

The hills in this area killed me two years ago when I moved here from RI, but quitting smoking (then) and biking them hills has been bringing me back.

Good thread Limey. Let's see, Limey already knows this, but, a couple months ago there was a mountain bike expo of sorts at Minnewaska. Limey mentioned it to me, and it was on! I've been needing a bike for awhile, fundage was present, so I had to do it. Went up to find a couple shops present, and was amazed by the tech put into these bikes! Spoke to a guy from a shop in New Paltz, stopped by there on the way back from Minne, and got my piece. After buying, and being totally amped about it, we decided to eat, at the TACO SHACK in New Paltz. There it is! I could use six soft shell from there right about now!!! And great nicknames guys, I feel like we should all hug now. Shocked

Like JamesFrames I am into rhyming.
Like Lil'Mort I am into my occupation.
Also, I think Ranger Danger makes a bada$$ superhero alter-ego name.
