So I assume there was no consensus for epic from Cortina, as Sleepy had suggested last night? I am hopeful that I'll have some new parts by then, because... I wanna ride!!!

I know it was beer-thirty when I left last night, but I had to go. I'll be up for ride Sunday if my parts are in...

No one else was into an epic unless it changed after i left. You may want to get in touch with Sleepy just to confirm. For me, Im doing Onteora Lake because I have stuff going on Sunday afternoon.

By the way Mike, still be able to use the swingarm, or it that messed up as well?

No word yet on whether I can have swingarm replaced under warranty. This is the obvious 1st choice, the second being check out Scotty's. Bill did get some hangers in for me today, so I'll hang one tomorrow and see what happens.

Come to find out, it'd be better for me to keep it local Sunday, so Onteora Lake would be my ride of choice. Of course assuming that I don't have issues with my repair.....

I'll bet I missed the "Best Ride Ever" today. I got a hanger for my bike, but the seat stay was more important than I realized, in that it holds rear wheel in position along with dropout/hanger. Hammering in it's present condition would only invite trouble. I also realized while trying to repair last night that I tweaked my chain and cracked a jockey wheel on derailler. I hate when that happens!!!

But, Scotty to the Rescue!! Blue seat stay on a black bike is better (way better!) than no bike for the next "best ride ever!" I'll be locked and loaded for Wed night....

Did Scotts part work on yours? Isnt your bike a medium and his a large or are they the same size?
