This ride is a short "epic" of 15 miles and a 4.5 hr. estimated ride time. It's great stuff for strong intermediate riders.

Scenery is Shocked

Now meeting @ the Scutt rd lot: take a right before the PArk entrance...lot is on right 400 feet down.

The 4.5 hours estimate isnt necessarily all ride time ~the route and time can be adjusted. Many options.
One bailout is down 23a, bring a speedo so you dont break the speed limit of 45!!

Conditions for the climb up are fresh wet leaves.
Im not opposed to Scutt rd parking instead of the original start.
Either way's fine, just putting it out there to talk up...

I'd prefer Scutt Road parking lot. This lot is at the top and will leave out that initial huge long climb. Plus that "horse" trail right out of that parking lot is always a great trail. There are alot of great trails up there that are a workout in themselves, Id rather not start off with a 30 minute long climb

Chris/Jamie, anyone else that hasn't been to North Lake before, if you want to meet at the Mc Donalds parking lot right across from the Saugerties Thurway exit, let me know, we can follow each other up. Meet at Mc'D's at 8:30
