My helmet seriously bothers me. I just looked to buy a new one and I am completely overwhelmed. I don't mind spending ~$60, but does anyone have any recommendations on a reasonably comfortable helmet? I don't mind spending a little more than that if it means NO MORE HEADACHES. I don't have time to go around trying things on, but I will if I have to. I would really prefer to just order one online.

Thanks!

You HAVE to try them on. Each helmet brand fits differently. Giro, Uvex and Fox fit my noggin. Louis Garneau fits some people's heads. Bell fits some people.

I can't wear anything other than the 3 I named. The rest just fit like crap and feel bad.

The short answer is: try it on and see what fits. Once you have a company and style that fits, then you can order online if you so desire. Or support the LBS and have them order it.

I have the Bell Sweep, it's very sweet, and comfy...and I have the Fox ..which is more cover, and extremely comfy.....
but you do need to try them on...
the new GPS systems are the way to go...it's a little
ratchet that tightens it.... Cool Cool
