Very active bees nest on the gut trail, which is the trail on the outer park side of Pond Gut Road. Near the beginning of the north end.

This is not the trail that goes down into the gut, but the one that weaves around in it and comes out near the snowmobile trail back to the lot?

This one starts near the gray gate bordering private land. Its the only gut trail that goes into the swampshore/clearing 2x. Wish we had a map to consult. Sad
The answer is no its not.

I spotted another big nest today.

On Camp Trail , If your heading towards the Gut it is just past the high point.
(The sweet downhill that is kinda bench cut)

It is hanging directly over the trail , looks like with a good wind it will end up right on the trail. Use Caution.

Also, Some idiot 4x4'd thru the pond area , at the top of horseshoe trail. WTF !
