We have this discussion every year of what trails DO NOT have hunting, and I can't find it. Can someone post a link to a list or start a new list here? |

Finding these by scanning threads:
Tymor on lake side, horse side not recommended as borders private hunting land
Lakeside in Pawling
Walnut Mtn
Lippman
Blue Mtn, Sprain, Graham, Yorktown
NJ Parks on Sunday
Camp Orange, Middletown - Bow only/weekdays only
Farrington?
Huntington near Danbury
Roxbury Preserves, CT (sidenote: no hunting on Sundays in CT)
Port Jervis
Scenic Hudson side of Illinois Mtn - not recommended as trails cut back and forth over town property
Sawyer Trails
Ferncliff
Mohonk/Minnewaska Carriage Roads
Some hunting in Mohonk: http://www.mohonkpreserve.org/hunting
Rail Trails
Shaupeneak off the list - allows rifle hunting by permit

I guess I answered my own question - enough choices to keep us busy for a few weeks. Any comments or adds? |

Shaupaneake, last I knew is open to rifle hunting.
Illiniois Mt. is best avoided because the Blue & Yellow trails go onto town property where guns are allowed.
Tymor is not so safe on the hill because the neighbors can stray in close to the trails -possibly w/o knowing. _________________ Pedal, b*tches!! |

Huntington is only hunter free on Sundays -
I don't know if Bennets Pond is no hunting. Geek- have you gone back and still not like riding there? I checked it out and I'd go back. I believe some official trail developments have been done.
Troutbrook is probably hunter free? _________________ Pedal, b*tches!! |
