REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT
The Smart Cycling curriculum is designed to develop confidence and competence of a bicycle rider. Students will learn about choosing a bicycle, basic parts of a bike, essential equipment, as well as how to safely and comfortably ride your bike in various traffic conditions, terrain and climates.
The course includes four hours of classroom instruction, which can also be done on-line at bikeed.org, and five hours of on-bike instruction. Suitabale for ages 16+; those under 18 must have parent/guardian permission. Students are required to bring a working bicycle and helmet. In case of inclement weather, a make-up class will be held on Wednesday April 4. The class will be taught by Tom Polk, a League Cycling Instructor (LCI).
