Hi cyclists and community advocates!

I’ve been asked to help recruit volunteers to help at the Women’s Woodstock Cycling Grand Prix. It is a competitive bike race drawing pro and amateur female racers from across the Northeast and Canada.

Here are some of the things you could do:

· Help move things like cattle gates or hang banners, Friday May 5.
· For those that know a bit about bicycle safety, we need assistance on Saturday May 6th to be bicycle diplomats and help direct the riders. The police stop the cars the diplomats direct the cyclists.
· For both groups there is a Volunteer meeting on Thursday May 4th, 4pm, at the Woodstock Community Center on Rock City Rd.
· All Volunteers are invited to stay for the free BBQ and band at the Community Center after the race.
· There is also a pre-ride Community Dinner at the Woodstock Fire Department on Friday May 5th it's $14 when you reserve in advance.

To sign up, or get more information, contact Anne Cavallaro, Volunteer Coordinator, at [email protected]

Thanks for your assistance!!

Hello fellow riders!
I have seen many of you riding in the supported road ride events in our area such as the Tour-De-Kingston and the Bike for Cancer Care. Don't you love it when you can zoom through an intersection and know you are safe? That safety is due to the efforts of law enforcement personnel and volunteers.
Volunteering for the Woodstock Grand Prix is a great way for all of us to participate in and give back to the cycling community. Please join us in making this race a world class event!
