Can you help with an awesome event in Kingston or Ellenville? Please contact Rose if so.

Hello Cycle Fans,

We are in need of a few bike mechanics and helpers of all stripes to pitch in for our free bike clinic program. So far we have two repair clinics planned for March. They are on March 18 at the Ellenville Library and on March 25 in Kingston at the Clinton Ave Church . Both of these start approximately at 10 and end by 3pm. If you can commit for the entire time that would be wonderful but a few hours is fine also. There will be more! so stay tuned if these dates don't work for you.

These free community bike clinics have been very successful. So much so that sadly we often need to turn folks away. As the demand for these types of events increases, so of course does our need to have dedicated folks willing to pitch in to ensure successful events. With that in mind I am appealing for any assistance that can be offered, expertise, time, tools, parts, W-D40, patch kits, cables etc... anything would be welcomed. But especially time! In particular of course we need folks who can fix bikes, but we also need mechanic helpers, and people to just make sure things go smoothly. AND Spanish speakers!! We always welcome people willing to help us communicate with our clients.

Also any one who might feel comfortable doing a work shop of some kind... flat fixing, helmet fitting, ABC's of bike basics etc would be great!

I hope to hear from you. Please, spread the word far and wide. This is a fantastic effort, but it takes a lot of effort so please help get the word out.

Thus far these programs have helped hundreds of Ulster County residents . Most of whom are adults who rely on their bikes to get around. There is so tremendous need for these services. This is s wonderful way to help share your passion and keep people riding safely and confidently, regardless of their station in life.

Please email me, or call 845-266-6096. Feel free to share my contact info with anyone who might want to help out.

Peace, Ride Safely
