The leaves are changing and the sticks are in the derailleurs which means it is time for Fatsgiving!

We will be returning to Ferncliff this year for a ride, potluck, and fire.

Plan to start riding at 10am. We'll aim for roughly 3 hrs to start lunch around 1-2 pm.

Feel free to post up your contribution.

See ya'll there as we bid farewell to the warm season and eagerly await some snow for the fat bikes (too soon?)

Do we have a way to heat stuff up in a crock pot? I can bring an inverter that runs off of a car battery if that would help. I think it has multiple ports to plug things in.

We can also bring a small camp stove.

I plan on being at this ride - my first with the FITCs. I'll bring meat chili for 8 people sourced from Main Course in New Paltz. I'd make my own but I don't have enough time before the ride.

JamesFrames, is there an open burner on your stove for warming purposes? If not I can dig up a camp stove as well.

I'll bring a small grill and two propane stoves, so there should be plenty of cooking options

Probably bringing some meat to grill and veggies.

Just FYI everyone... I'm on the trail maintenance team and do have access to get thru the locked gate. I was up there yesterday and did some raking then was looking for potential firewood for our fire. Ed told me about that pine tree just cut off the trail behind the pond. I checked it out but it's too big for me to get out of there alone. I did bring up a few logs from down below but we will need more wood for Saturday. So if anyone has firewood (or even bigger logs need cutting) please let me know. If not I did find a smaller dead pine still standing just off the dirt road toward the tower so could cut that one down and use it if need be.

Wondering if the trails will be leaf blown before the fatsgiving ride like they were a few years ago (thank you trail gnomes, who ever you are).

Thinking of bringing my son if the trails are clear.
