Conditions: light dusting of snow in a few places. Frost not too bad. Good to go.

909 is a possible destination today, does anyone know if the trails are too soft? Frost and even icy patches would be excellent if it's still there.

I rode the fatbike Thursday night.
Mostly light snow cover or some bare ground.....some frost.

Most bare ground was frozen and fast...snow areas a little slower.

I saw one other set of tracks in the snow, regular size.

It was good conditions for the Mukluk.

I was wondering about trail conditions. I'm planning to ride on Saturday (3/26).

Thanks,

JP

909 is in great shape. Very few soft or wet spots. Rain in the forecast for tonight and Friday though but I think it's dry enough to absorb some rain for a Saturday ride.

Probably wet and sloppy after the wet snow on Monday and rain today that most likely melted everything. Conditions were great on Tuesday night.. 1-3 inches in spots and bare in others but it was below freezing. Good fat bike conditions.

Looks like the goobers have really been at it lately. Lower entrance to horseshoe has been rolled over someone with clearance. They then drove along horseshoe and deepened the ruts. Might be high time to put new barriers up. They also drove up the fireroad (from horseshoe) all the way around to Tyrell parking lot. They managed to widen the steep hill above whatchamacallit.

The stretch of the Snowmobile that goes to Pond Gut got hedge trimmed. Fisher too.

The new electric trimmer is a pretty helpful trail maintenance tool. In a 40 minute run time it prunes 3/8" branches & does the job that would take 4x as long if by hand.

Thanks to everyone who blocks trail braids & goobers...

...The place is in very good shape.

Just rode that way today. Thanks a lot. And thanks to whoever finished cutting out the tree that was across the trail on the downhill that follows. Such a great network of trails for pounding out the miles.

On Whatchamacallit use caution: there's a fallen tree blocking a high speed turn when descending

Someone trimmed Beaver, we all like that thanks

" the log on the Tunnel to Mustang connector

The social/hiking trails that criss cross the Gut trails are "out of control." Need blocking, expecially Pirate Creek. It's probably just dog walkers -its confusing and looks stupid

The tree on Whatchamacallit is clear. There's smaller ones on Border & Gut Loop

You too! You guys inspired the purchase of these 21st century saws.

Although, half the technology for this clearing was also used to build the pyramids: levers & log rollers Idea
