My bike has been out of commission for three weeks due to some needed, but unfortunately timely upgrades. I come to learn belatedly, that I need a specific headset: Cannondale KP205. It converts a System Integrated Head Shock head tube to the new 1.25" tapered fork standard. There seem to be none to be found. Even Cannondale is two weeks out - minimum.

So I need something that goes from the 40mm I.D. of the bottom head tube bearing to mate with the bottom of the fork steerer tube. The top steerer tube bearing is the same I.D., but apparently I can get something to mate that with the 1.25" section.

Without that part kit or a brilliant save from the outfield from the Fats in the Cats, it looks like I foresee some hiking in my future. There are worse things, for sure....but I figured I'd put it out there.

And while I have your attention, anyone have any experience mounting a bicycle to be carried on a motorcycle? I have a system brewing and would love input/out put on that.
