Right side (red box) is mostly flat with a little climbing at the end. Fairly rooty.

Left side (blue box) across the road is pretty hilly either way you climb. Nothing technical though.

I have only ridden the course the way the race has been for last 6 or 7 years (arrows pointing in past race direction). It'll be opposite this year says smctigue

Not only reverse but a bit different.

If you're familiar with the usual loop, go backwards across the field behind Town Hall to the singletrack that runs adjacent to the equestrian area ("Town Hall Trail"). At the end of THT, you can go R, L or straight. Go straight. Follow the jeep trail climb for 1/2 mile or so and make the left onto H backwards. Everything else from there out is the usual in reverse.

I got the impression that he was kidding about it being in reverse...that's just how I read the e-mail....maybe he was just kidding about it being more down hill...

He just sent another email saying it would be in the "normal" direction. Prerode some of the course with Schopen this morning, it was my first time on those trails--lots of roots, but it was super dry. If it stays dry, it should be a fast course. Little steep bits, too, and some new wooden things that are fun. I will be working on Sunday because I need to sell all 4 of my listings in order to buy a new bike.

bah!
cold fall air= me no breath good

Bailed after 1.5 oxygen deprived laps. Stopped at the gym on the way home (where the ragweed does not grow) and got 1st place for picking stuff up.

1.5 more than me! I bailed all together ,my legs were sore from that climb on the pre ride. Clymor is very appropriate!
