It’s Burly time!
We are serving up a bigger, better, burlier Burly 2.0 for the 2014 backyard World championship. We’ve got more trails, more Gnar, more Shwag, and all of the usual NYSMTB SERIES fixings. That means a kids race, a food truck on site, Tim Quilty on the mic, Cash for experts and pros, a bike wash station, and neutral mechanical support from Overlook Mountain bikes. This year we are giving Custom Burly bike bottles to the first 75 preregistered racers. This is a very limited run. We don’t anticipate having any left for sale on raceday. While you are at bikereg.com, check out our new dark heather American apparel T’s. Come be part of a unique event with a family BBQ vibe! |

Preride is Saturday starting at 11AM. The food truck is confirmed. Of course whenever a food truck has no-showed at our events, they had been confirmed ..
BTW James, Quilty said you guys might be interested in some ferns that are in the way. PM me if you or Mrs Frames wants to come get them before they get pulled. |

Wow was that burly!
Took me two laps to get into the groove and to stop fighting the trail and just flow. Then I felt pretty good and was loving it.
Surprisingly ended up with 4th in the cat1 40-49.
Great job everyone, ESP those that worked so hard to create and put this race on!
Cima on fatbike took 2nd cat1 singlespeed!
Kenny took the "W" cat1 50-59 by a tight 11 seconds
Christian ran the last half of the last lap with a flat! _________________ I like big bikes and I can not lie. |

I also forgot to mention the scores of ripped clothing and bruises (also terrible hurt egos) from the tight-tight single track! (ruined my "fancy" jersey).
food truck was AWESOME!!! Just couldn't find the Keg... _________________ I like big bikes and I can not lie. |

Does anyone know if riding is available there outside of the races? I heard it is on private property... |
