Decided to pull the trigger on the 100k option in light of the Renegades doing so much work for this race. Still time to sign up...50k, 100k, and 100 mi.

Beautiful day for a bike race. Got to see some new goodies at Lundy before I pulled the plug on the day. After stopping to pump my tire a few times, Bearscat deja vu set in as I realized I had a torn sidewall at mile 25 on the way to "Trail's End". (I replaced my rear after three flats at BS50, but now my front was failing). Although I was doing well-decided to bail with a smile on my face having a great ride up to that point.
Big kudos to the Renegades for pulling the course together and showing up to marshall. Although I did not see all of it, being able to create a 100k loop is badass.
Stopped at Bicycle Depot on the way home to grab a new tire! _________________ If I can bicycle, I bicycle.
