Does anyone know if any of the old Hyde Park Brewery trails are legal to ride these days, other than the Roosevelt Farm Lane? I heard that these trails used to be great.

One of the guys at the bike shop told me that some people still ride these trails.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all if not most all the singletrack is off limits, so carriage trails only. A black eye we suffered with that one, but hopefully in the future we'll get our foot in the door again.

I'd rather see tax dollars working to grow a generation of conservationists than supporting an obesity trend.

Ask me privately what I really think of the tragic lack of mtb access in HP.

Things have actually gotten worse for biking in HP this year. After they were banned from the FDR trails a few years ago bikes were allowed on the town trails. That is no longer the case -theyre not even allowed in Pine Woods now! New wording here:

That is terrible.

Its a good reminder to never take what we have for granted,

ignorant people can set us back 20 years so quickly.
