Youth rides.

I was working at the shop today and a family came in and purchased a young man a new bike. They were asking about rides involving young riders, he is 12..and lives in New Paltz. What's out there?????

I take my 7 year old daughter to 909 and started her on the fireroads. We have slowly moved up to singletrack...she rides Horseshoe, Tunnel, some parts of Snowmobile. She rides a Specialized 20" Hotrock with a front shock and 7 speeds. Would suggest the parents get him gloves though...the one time I forgot to bring my daughter's gloves she falls 3 times and hurt her hands.

Not sure about youth group rides...POKGIRL and I are going to try and coordinate our daughters to ride sometime at 909.
