EZ Rider / New Riders all levels are welcome!!

Hi Everyone! This is our new thread and a new season. I am so looking forward to being out there again. I have met some really great people running these rides and I am very excited to be doing this again and glad to be able to continue.

If you have been thinking about trying out the EZ Rider / New Rider rides now is the time to get those bikes ready!! As in the past we will be going all over and welcome road trips to different places.

The New Rider ride pace and length depends on who is participating, everyone who comes enjoys themselves, there is no pressure to go beyond your comfort zone but you will receive encouragement when you do. We take lots of breaks some are very much needed and some are just to check out mother nature.

The EZ rider rides are a little more challenging and on more technical trails and last a little longer then the New Rider ones. So no matter what your pace is you will fit in!!

Keep an eye out as we maybe posting last min if the weather looks good. As always if you don't see a post it doesn't mean someone isn't available to ride, so post up or PM me and we will get it going.

I am also be doing some C-D level causal road rides out of Woodstock every Thurs night at 6:00 for anyone also interested in those.

We have weekly Tues night New Rider rides, meet time is 5:15 ride starts by 5:30 depending on weather.
1st Tues Ferncliff
2nd Tues 909
3rd Tues Lippman park
4th Tues group choice.

Weather permitting we maybe out this coming weekend I look forward to meeting some new riders and seeing everyone from last year and the year before...LETS RIDE!!!

Yeah!! Another great EZ Rider ride at 909.. We did a little over 8 miles of some trails I have never been on and some I recognized but wasn't to sure. Defiantly will be doing a re run of this route, Thanks Jim for a great lead. And thank you to everyone who came it was a perfect day to be in the woods!! Smile

By request we are doing our NEW Rider ride at 909 the week.

Meet time 5:15 ride time by 5:30. We will do a nice loop and then reassess the time and maybe do a little more. We will be fairly close to the lot so there will be many bail out options, but I promise once you get going you wont want to bail!!

Had a great ride at 909 tonight, thank you everyone who came, those who were unable to make it you were missed and you missed a good one..
it was also nice to see and chat with people I haven't since Dec.

An guess what!!! Since there are 5 Tues this month, the group gets another choice ride and group agreed since we missed Lippman last week that we would go there on next Tues. Very Happy

Just realized I had been discussing this on the event thread.. so if anyone is interested in participating in this ride I would say a definite EZ rider ride mostly because of the distance. So far we have a nice group going but more are always welcome!!
We are doing the pre ride at Stewart Sat 4/27 Meeting at 1:00 at ridge road. This is a 24 mile or so ride. Shocked

The trails at Stewart are in fantastic shape, everyone who is riding tomorrow will be flying!!
This is the longest ride I have ever done on the MTB, so it was a challenge, I am tired but I loved it!!
Can't wait to get a couple different rides going there, anyone who hasn't been there you don't know what you are missing!!! Very Happy

Just a reminder the New Rider Ride is tomorrow at Lippman Park, meet time 5:15 ride time 5:30, can swing back to the parking lot to pick up anyone who can't be there at that time as we are so close to the lot.
