The Tuesday rides on Jockey Hill will (officially) begin on Tuesday, April 9th! The weather is starting to look good, we have daylight, and the trails on the Hill are in the best shape ever! The ride will leave the Jockey Hill parking lot promptly at 5:30 so be ready to go. Directions can be found on our Trails page.

Although this is not a beginners ride, it has always been social in nature and all are encouraged to attend. Faster riders can jet off the front and then regroup with the rest of us at trail intersections.

Just a few things to remember as we start our season:

When driving up to the parking area please drive slow as to not annoy the residents. We have been parking there for years without any problems and this will just ensure that we can keep doing that. The speed limit on Jockey Hill Road is 30ish MPH.

Please take note of the other riders around you and help the ride leaders make sure everyone is with us and ready to go.

Of course, helmets are required for every Fats ride. It's also a great idea to bring some tools and a spare tube.

Remember that this is a Fats in the Cats club ride. We certainly invite you to come along for a ride or two but, if you find that you like us please drop the $15 and join the club. You can do this by downloading the membership app on this website or by paying online with paypal. If you continue to ride with us and don't sign on as a member, we will harass you until you give in.

So, bring a friend and some fun! See yous on the trails!

Is the Jockey Hill ride tonight (May 21) still on despite the weather forecast?

I'm planning to be there, unless it is pouring or t-storms. I will have jerseys, as well!

Thanks Bill! Mostly heading in that direction to get the jersey, but it's been forever and a day since I've ridden Jockey Hill, and I'd like to ride. With the forecast looking crappy, just wanted to make sure before I drive 45 mins up. Will make sure to check one last time before I depart POK.

FYI, as this impacts the route many people take to Jockey Hill:

When will the Tuesday evening rides at Jockey Hill start up again? I was there yesterday and the double track is muddy but the single track is in good condition.
