I just built up some sweet Mavic 717 hoops with 07 XTR Disc hubs and DT spokes. All new. I can email pics if needed. I can let the set go for $325. I'm gonna put them on Ebay in a week or so, if anybody is interested let me know soon. You can email me at [email protected]

What kind of strength do you think these have to them? Handle 3-4 foot drops or not?

These are built for cross country riding and racing, which they are perferctly suited for, downhill stuff like 4 foot drops would be pushing there limits. I would look for something with heavier rims and spokes for that kind of riding.
