Howdy Ya'll!

Momentum is moving in the right direction for trail building in the area. Not only are we gaining access, we are being personally invited to build trails!

* A few of us hiked Illinois Mtn yesterday with the ranger. A few reroutes of already constructed trail and a change in the overall trail system concept has me stoked! Stayed tuned for updates and work days!

*Shaupeneak Ridge- The recently constructed Green Trail is a smashing success. Trail work days will be posted soon to develop this next addtion to this hot spot. With other nearby land possibly opening up, the potential is epicccc.

* Also, local spot in Rosendale (not Williams) may be opening up to our shovels...could be a cool addtion to that neck of the woods.

There are huge opportunites to get dirty and make a difference. Every pair of hands helps!

Get involved ya' bums!

That is exciting! I know I can hardly wait to help out, especially if it means I can use power tools!!!!

I enjoyed doing trail work last year and look forward to doing more with a different eye for what I am looking at..new members this is a great way to meet people and learn about the trails and the reasons they are or need to be created the way they are.

We're also reigniting the Mount Beacon trail work this year as well! Going to finish the trail up to the Wilkenson Trail and to Dozer Jct. Then we start planning some more!!

Tom
