After years of running studded nokians, i took a short ride on a friends Pugs and had SO MUCH FUN! I was hooked. So I pulled the trigger on a Salsa Mukluk 2. Who has or will have a fat bike for this upcoming winter?
I was thinking we should get a super-fat-in-the-cats group going?

Been on a Pugs for a little more than a year. Welcome!

Ride mainly in the Kingston area. Full on winter sometimes North Lake in Haines Falls.

Also for anyone, the new bike shop in Catskill has a Mukluk 3 on the floor so you could check it out!

My buddy said he put extra effort into dealing with some technical issues. (unlike the blank stares I get at some shops...)
I hope to stop by and check out his shop this weekend.

Sweet Pic!
I just got my Mukluk 2 on Monday and got her built Tuesday. She is sweet! I took her out in the yard in the dark/rain and she is surprising seemed fast. I laughed my arse off when I opened the box and saw those HUGE tires! Just like a monster truck!
I can't believe I am saying this.... Let it Snow!
