I am inviting all sport and expert racers, and other velocity addicted types, to the first official Wed. Nigtht A-Train group mtb ride. We will meet at the lot at Jockey hill @ 6pm-ish, warm up a little, and go hammer out an hour to an an hour and at half at jockey. Regrouping at trailheads is individually optional. we will ride a predetermined route, so everyone knows where to go. I will have copies of the map and a hi-liter marker. The idea is to do a short, hard effort and push both your fitness and your bike skills. This ride is for:

Anyone who races and is looking for a regular training ride with a social bonus.

Anyone that is thinking about racing, or thinking about moving up in catagorie, and wants to see where they are at, and learn from more experienced riders.

Hammerheads.

The ride is whatever you want it to be. No one wil expect you to keep up or slow down.

Right now the tentative plan is to be wheels down at 6:15 PM, but it can be a little later if that makes it doable for more people.

I like this idea-although I can not attend Wednesday. Good ride option during the race season...hope to meet up at some point

Sorry you can't make it. You were one of the people I had in mind. Hopefully this will get some traction, and I will see you on another Wed.

perhaps we could work on alternate days-as we get more light, I try and hook up with the bike depot's road ride out of their shop in NP...either way, wednesdays are reserved for people dusting me

I kind of feel the same way actually Confused . I figure it was my idea, so I better show up. I will do it again next week, unless I am pre riding Tymor. It will come together.

I felt great with a light recovery spin, then tried to beat a t-storm home now really feel it! For some reason I chased my dogs around my yard for the last 1/2 hour my my singlespeed and still feel it! Looks like smokin' weather today. I think I'll be doing just light spinning on the road until weekend.
I'll be doing 3 h road sat. Endurance tempo (moderate) if anyone wants to link up here in Hudson area, up into taconics.
