This project is our club's biggest fundraiser and we have sold out each year. Don't miss out! I have received the "deadline" info from Verge. We will be putting 50% down by March 23rd. The art department will not be able to develop a tie-dyed theme for us this year, as the extra design time would incur a much higher cost for us. The artists will be working on a three color design which incorporates Stinky and our sponsors' logos with a blue & gray theme.
We would like to have as many pre-paid orders by March 14th as possible. Your final orders with full payment will have to submitted to me by March 21st. Sizes will be the same as in previous years. I should have a sample pack from Verge with some jerseys for sizing at our annual meeting on Wednesday March 14. Verge is shooting for a May 4th ship date. We will accept cash or checks made out to Fats in the Cats Bicycle Club Inc. For additional information you can email me at [email protected] or Instant Message me here...
Payment to:
Greg Little
c/o Fats In The Cats
32 Penstock Lane
Lake Katrine, NY 12449
This year we will have four stylish options:
Club Cut (the style we have bought in the past) ~ $50 member's price ($65 non-members includes membership);
Woman's Cut (short sleeves or sleeveless tbd) ~ $50 member's price ($65 non-members, includes 2007 membership) contingent upon reaching minimum order of six;
Free Ride (loose fitting, short sleeve, no elastic around the waist, v-neck, no pockets, same material as the Club Cut) ~ $45 member's price ($60 non-members, includes 2007 membership) contingent upon reaching minimum order of six;
Aquatec Jacket (thin material full zipper jacket) ~ $70 member's price ($85 non-members, includes 2007 membership) contingent upon reaching minimum order of six. _________________ greg

I am in for a jersey for sure. I just wonder if there is any possibility of a looser fit jersey that I would be able to wear downhilling or at the bike park? |

I'm actually going to look into that Tom when I talk with Verge. I like the cut of the jerseys we have bought in the past, but I prefer the looser fit, no elastic around the waist, short sleeve type shirt while riding as well. I'm also going to look into a long sleeve loose fitting type as well. _________________ greg

Just want to throw a clarification in here since we are discussing different style jerseys. We will be getting the club cut jersey. (the style we have had in the past. Elastic waist, zipper up the front, etc.). I will be looking into the other styles mentioned above to see if its possible to get as well without being to expensive. Stay tuned - _________________ greg

Just a little update........I've talked with Verge. The main jersey we will be pushing as always is the club cut jersey. Its your typical jersey, elastic waist, pockets on the back, elastic arm. We are also offering that same jersey in a sleeveless. Another jersey we are offering is what they refer to as a "free ride". Its basically a loose fitting shirt, no elastic around the waist and has a v-neck. It will be the same material as a regular jersey, but just a little more casual. Also, we are looking to offer a zipper up, thin jacket which Verge refers to it as an Aquatec. Verge says it will help you against the rain and wind. We will have all these styles at the March meeting for anyone that wants to check them out before deciding what to buy. Price wise, I'm waiting to hear back from Verge in regards to the tie-dye idea. The club cut jersey and sleeveless we are hoping to keep the same price as last year at $50. The free ride jersey will be very close to that price. The jacket will most likely be in the $70 range. But, like I said, those prices may change a bit depending on what they come back with us for the tie-die............Anyways........I'll keep everyone posted as I hear more info. _________________ greg
