Due to the recent cool weather , I am finally going to open up the wallet.

I know alot of folks really like the Lake shoes.
Is anyone using the Answer Kashmirs?

The info I have gathered so far online seems to indicate that the Kashmirs are roomier then the Lakes.
I have wide feet and need all the room I can get.
Can anyone verify if this is true?
Are the Lakes really narrow?

Also, has anyone found either of these brands not to keep you feet nice and toasty, as advertised.

Any info would be great.

Thanks
Jim

Yup Kashmirs are quite roomie. My feet (regular wide) slop around a bit inside actually. I'm considering renting out the extra space to some migrant workers.

The only con Ive heard of Kashmirs is that the bulged ankle padding blows out, but doesnt seem to hamper performance once that goes.
I own the predecessor to the Lakes mentioned, the MXZ 300's and reliability has been an issue. One pair warranteed, Rick Bykhed same deal. My replaced pair also had sole peel away from the toe, and Ive seen this on other Lakes same model like CFury's. I sent mine in, they "had it professionally repaired" and that lasted 5 rides. I should have known something was up when the manual mentions having a good silicone glue on hand. They are of average width.

Cool, thanks for all the info.
The Answers seem like a pretty good buy.
