"The Hyde Park Trail Committee is setting up an adopt-a-trail program for Hyde Park Trails. Please join us for an Introduction to Trail Maintenance, Sunday April 27 at 3:00 pm. We should finish by 5:30. Afterwards, please join us for a volunteer reception also at Hackett Hill. No trail maintenance experience required. Tools are provided, but if you have long-handled loppers and/or a leaf rake, please feel free to bring your own. We'll be in the woods, so please be prepared with appropriate shoes, tick repellent, drinking water, etc. If you know of anyone who would like to come, please pass this along. Hope you can make it!"

I'll be there, unless there is a severe downpour!

I took only a few photos at the trailwork day at Hackett Hill Park.
It is a nice little park and there really was fondue.
Gorilla Rock with a few volunteers in the background.
Forest_biker feels a strong connection to Gorilla rock!
Mrs Forest_biker taking a break while Pedaler and Ray(Roy?) work in the background.
I wish I got more photos, but the trails kept us busy.
Many thanks to the trailwork volunteers! |
