I'm looking to purchase a used bike for my father..nothing fancy, just a functional bike he can tool around his neighborhood on. No clipless pedals, preferably a mtn bike or hybrid frame. He's 5'10". Not a big budget..$150-$200 tops. Anyone have anything or know the best place to look? Thanks! |

Occasionally they are posted on this site. Another thing you can do is call some of the local bike shops. It seems they always hear of used bikes for sale. Good luck in the search _________________ greg

I'll keep my eyes open. Report back with any success you have. |

Actually decided to go with an Electra Townie. It will be perfect for him. Got it at Lightsey Cycles in Gardiner. Small dent on the frame so price was reduced. Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Much appreciated. |
