We ride primarily at the lift serviced mountains, we do DH/FR thing. He's been riding a Trek Bruiser (hard tail), but he wants a full suspension. We have our eyes on the Haro X7, Kona Stinky and now this nice little number came up. It looks like a lot of bike for the money.... _________________ Everything you wanted to know about downhill mountain biking at Whiteface but were afraid to ask!!! www.downhillmike.com

There's some great technical trails nearby I'd be happy to show you guys, theres no hucking or man made features around though.
The bike seems well stocked, I used the brakes and they were great.
A hard tail huck-er:

I think they'd enjoy Sprain or Ninham
regarding Millstone, we were up there last year. Lil Mort and myself will be getting up there definitely again this year. Those are GREAT technical trails up there _________________ greg

Hey Tom, did you get that coupon I sent?
I just got off the phone with Mike and Elias (Whiteface), they're out in Vegas riding Bootleg Canyon. Yeah calling me while they're taking a breather at 4000 feet, 65 degrees, view for hundreds of miles...oh they suck so much!!!!
I'm thinking about going out for a long weekend in May, Mike has a 2 bedroom apartment he's been in since last fall.
Oh and by the way, KHS is right there, they're going to take a visit and check out what they have, may be in the running for a few bikes for the Whiteface fleet. Maybe they can fit in an extra bike on pro deal for Trav..... _________________ Everything you wanted to know about downhill mountain biking at Whiteface but were afraid to ask!!! www.downhillmike.com

That would be a smoking bike to have! How old is your son? It seems like that's a good choice. If he likes it and wants to take it to another level the following year, you can just slap on a DC fork and a chain guide - then you're good to go! _________________ Elevate Cycles|FTW Factory Racing|Blah|Blah|Blah |

Trav is going to be 13 in a few weeks and he's a big kid. I just hear that the bike MSRP is $2,500.00, I'm hoping to hear from Mike soon....
We missed a smoking deal on a real clean garaged Stinky Deluxe on FleaBay a month or so ago...it was a pick-up only over in CT, sold for $625.00!!!!!! Boy I dropped the ball on that one... _________________ Everything you wanted to know about downhill mountain biking at Whiteface but were afraid to ask!!! www.downhillmike.com

We got a look at a Lucky 7 at Whiteface this weekend, it's a ballin' ride, I need to find a shop that has one in stock... _________________ Everything you wanted to know about downhill mountain biking at Whiteface but were afraid to ask!!! www.downhillmike.com
