I ride a Marin Indian Fire Trail. It's a hardtail. Had a Cannondale Jekyll, sold it, will be buying a new full suspension in the spring. I have done some downhilling......mostly at Mountain Creek, couple times at Plattekill. I thought it was a great time, even just on my full suspension.

You do any cross country, or mainly downhill?

No problems here. I did change the bearings out at about the 1 year mark.
It has taken everything I've thrown at it, Sprain, Blue, Ninham, the Vermont 50 and everywhere in between.

Cannondale Gemini for Downhill (7" Front and rear).

Neither is stock much other than the frame.

Ok, for the serious answer.

I mostly ride XC, but I get out on road rides a couple of times each week in the summer months.

It's also really fun to just cruise around town at a leisurely pace and take the scenery in. Chill down by the Roundout for a bit, ride around Uptown, ect...

I ride mostly XC and ride a
trek fuel 100 for Racing
and a
Specialized Enduro for AM and fun stuff.

Rode a specially built Kona Stinky outfitted to
Whistler BC specs while I was out there this summer

First real down hill rig I rode and it was good.
7 to 8 inches of squish.

OK, OK, I own and on occasion (when not broken) ride a Kona DAWG PRIMO. She's a sweet smooooooooth ride in the rocks! But, my true love is my Redline Monocog Flight. Something about the simplicity of the single speed just keeps me coming back for more. The amazing handling and instant acceleration likely has a lot to do with it. Oh, I ride mostly XC by the way. Very Happy

Well, I started out as a roadie, which I still do often for cardio, primarily because I'll never run again (see avatar). A few years ago I was XC and trail, and then a trip to Whiteface somehow morphed me into DH last year, to the point that I just started competing this year.
I just sold my Sugar 2, so now I'm in the market for something to replace it, maybe a hardtail. I still have my first generation carbon Trek 2300, a Trek 4300 with road tires, an Iron Horse SGS DH Pro, and I just got a Haro 357 Nine.
