I prefer to call her "mocha" colour. Wink

Don't think we've ever seen you out on the trails before. Perhaps we should appear at a ride together sometime and confuse some people.

I enjoy going down hill all the time!! Wink I freeride a bit. I have a six inch travel Kona Stinky that I hit bike parks on and like to ride more aggressively with. It is a good all around bike because it is tough and light, 36lbs or so. There are some nice freeride style runs in the Woodstock area ta boot. You just gotta pedal your rig to the top. Very Happy

Hi my name is Oh and I'm a bike-a-holic.

I used to own 6 bicycles, till my significant other pointed out we couldn't get even half a compact car into our largish single car garage because of all the mtn bikes, road bikes, and recumbent bikes I had (pretty much 2 of each).

But I'm much better now.

I'm down to one recumbent, an Advanced Transportation Products long wheel base Vision. I've got mtn bike tires on it and take it out to Minne or Mohonk once or twice a year. Not much fun on steep hills, but it rocks on rail trails.

I have one mtn bike, a pre-bankruptcy Cannondale Bad Boy with front shock, mtn bike tires and hydralic disc brakes. This is my mid-life crisis bicycle.

But I do have these moments of weakness where I think I really need a single speed 29er mtn bike. I'm working on that (mostly trying to convince my significant other Very Happy ).

Just don't ask how many bike lights I have.

OBL

Like OBL I am also on the fast track to recovery. I sold 5 bikes at the swap and my tandem the week before. I'm down to a pretty solid fleet...

Mountain - Dean Colonel
Faster paced road - Koga Miyata GranWinner
Lazier paced road - Woodrup Giro
Gravel and all around road - Van Dessel Country Road Bob
Errands - Vicious Metal Guru
Touring - Specialized Street Stomper

I'm still loving the big wheel plushness of my Salsa Big Mama
It seems to climb slow early season, but still descends well!
Moved my Blur along to the riding son
Put a rigid fork on my 90's Salsa Ala Carte, made it a zip-tie single speed and rigged it for riding with my dog.
Still beating an old Redline cyclocross
Cruise the roads on my trusty Bridgestone RB1

I too have issues.

A FS S-ed, road bike, SS Steel, tandem mtn bike, 1950's Swiss townie, 1960's balloon tire cruiser, a 1980's early mtn bike project and stray 70's Pugeut (heading to someone else's garage soon). Not even going to get into how many my wife has.

So when I get to twelve bicycles, my unending desire for another will go away?
Can anyone write a prescription for that?
