I've never heard of them. But I have the Hayes nine, and after three years,
their flawless...with the exception of new pads. A friend of mine has the
Juicy 7's...what a pain in the a$$ they are...that's all i got....good luck. Wink

Formula. Awesome.

I've been using the K24s for more than a season, and they are top of the heap. Hell, I even like them better then my old Juicy 7s. Better modulation, better stopping power, and just a great company behind them.

Definitely go for the K18s.

I am very happy with Formula brake design, though mine are the previous x/c model, B4SL. Great attention to detail, modulation+.
My other bike has good old Avid BB7's, they are all the power I need for the steepest gnarl x/c around. Cant beat the ease of adjustments. Good levers, preferably with spring are a must.

I have the Formula Evoluziones on my Avalanche. While this is my first bike, I can say they work quite well. I didn't like how far the lever needed to move for full grab, but I remedied that with topping of the fluid. It hadn't been serviced before I got it, so after topping off both reservoirs, they are working flawlessly.
