|
|
Hello everyone,
Thinking about doing a little trail cleanup on Friday morning Nov 23 followed/in concert with a trail ride, anyone game? Figure to look at some appliances and their ability to be moved to the main trail/road for pickup and perhaps check on some culvert pipes for blockage. It would also be good to finish up the new IMBA trail, the end near the Newbold Rd trail, to reclaim that end of the trail. At this stage I'm not figuring on doing any excavating .
Ride on,
Frank
Planning to begin the ride/trail work at 9:30am on Fri 11/23, starting at the Brewery Trail Head. Some tools and work gloves might be handy to bring along. Does anyone have a folding shovel?
A very fortuitous encounter happened while scoping out the work and riding in Hyde Park Sunday 11/18. I met a fellow who would like to take the metal trash and is intending to show up Friday with a pickup truck. _________________ Ride on my friends,

I'd like to make it but unfortunately I'll be in PA visiting family.
If there is anything to do on that Sunday I should be back by then.
Sorry,
Chris |

Hi everyone,
The plan is still on to do some work and riding in Hyde Park. I have some work lined up:
cut a deadfall of the main Roosevelt Farm Trail
create a re-route around the large mud hole that connects the IMBA trail to the Newbold Trail
reclaim the mud hole end of the van trail
inspect 2 culverts out on the Winnikee trails

Thank you everyone that came out to do some trail cleanup on Friday. It was quite a large pile of junk we removed, 13 Fats members plus a new FTC friend. _________________ Ride on my friends,
