I was up at Jockey Hill this afternoon and was stopped by a gentlemen working on the new home going up. He asked that I alert "The Club" to please be careful as there is a 4' deep trench that has been dug along the road. He doesn't want anyone falling in on their bike and getting hurt. He realizes that some of the members ride at night and its not that easy to see at night. There are some orange cones out but I don't believe they cover the entire distance of the trench.

Thanks!
Btw, did you catch the name of that parked motorhome? "Intruder".
Also true and off topic, but reminded me of dept. store mt bikes named "Catapult" and "Breakpoint" _________________ Pedal, b*tches!! |

That motor home "intruder" is the one building the house and a supporter of the Fats being on jockey hill. They own the property that borders the mysteriously appearing "Lollypop Trail". That trail likely encroaches upon this property owners land so we should keep a friendly relationship with them! Think about it, it's not often the some rogue "RVer" excavates a hillside enough to park thier $100k motor home in a redneck dumping zone, just because they enjoy watching 4wheelers ripping by. We need more bordering land owners to wave to us as we ride by. _________________ Never under estimate the single speed. |

I wasnt dissing the "Intruder", just seems a funny name. Wherever it may roam, its always the "Intruder".
I speak to one of the lot owners fairly regularly~ he owns Ronzoni Pizza in HP, and rides a mt. bike. Its his mil's motor home I believe.
According to the boundary markers (yellow paint, not the ribbons) the trail is completely off private land. _________________ Pedal, b*tches!! |
