My helmet seriously bothers me. I just looked to buy a new one and I am completely overwhelmed. I don't mind spending ~$60, but does anyone have any recommendations on a reasonably comfortable helmet? I don't mind spending a little more than that if it means NO MORE HEADACHES. I don't have time to go around trying things on, but I will if I have to. I would really prefer to just order one online.
Thanks! |

You HAVE to try them on. Each helmet brand fits differently. Giro, Uvex and Fox fit my noggin. Louis Garneau fits some people's heads. Bell fits some people.
I can't wear anything other than the 3 I named. The rest just fit like crap and feel bad.
The short answer is: try it on and see what fits. Once you have a company and style that fits, then you can order online if you so desire. Or support the LBS and have them order it. |

I have the Bell Sweep, it's very sweet, and comfy...and I have the Fox ..which is more cover, and extremely comfy.....
but you do need to try them on...
the new GPS systems are the way to go...it's a little
ratchet that tightens it.... _________________ Shut up and ride.! |
