So does this mean you're unavailable to ride on weekends? Stewart is sad. Sad

I don't think Stewart likes me very much!!! I am not sure if *all* my weekends are completely booked, but a lot of them are. Enough so I wouldn't have time to train for adventure racing. Not enough so I can't make my revenge on Stewart.

That's funny because out of all the places I ride, I always manage to come home bruised or bleeding from Stewart.

Let's put the smack down, Samantha! Cool

The search team I'm on NYSAR does medical for the adventure races at Harriman. I have been looking for someone to do them with, but they require running, biking, swimming, and or kayaking. Everyone I've ever talked to about this can only do one of those things no one can run and bike and swim and kayak.

Alta doesnt check in on these boards much but she's done quite a few Adventure Races.

Fireman,

We meet at Stewart right? Most of the races don't include swimming, but they do include Orienteering. I have a list of races and dates, just let me know.

Yup that was me, now I have a yeti 575 though and can handle the ice and snow better Smile I'm up for the Orienteering, I'm actually decent at it. Which races did you have in mind, there are more than a few of them in the area.

Hey pedaler, that site looks awesome. If I had the money and the time, I'd be doing some of those.

Fireman,

I'm pretty good at Land Nav, as we call it in the Army, as well. I can't make the Genesis Adventure one in NJ on 2 June, but I'm tracking a USARA event in Cold Springs on the 23rd and a big one in PA on 30 June. There are a couple in Aug and Sep I'm also interested in. I have a 16 year old son who is a stud and could make a three man team. I promised him that we at least do one together this year. My department just did an event that covered 17 miles of biking, running, paddling, climbing and swimming in and around West Point. He did it with no problem. Let me know what you schedule will allow and what other races you might be tracking.
