Anybody ever been to Middletown or Accord speedways?? I just
called Middletown Speedway asking when they opened. Well they
are open, PLUS the Outlaws(winged sprint cars) will be there
Saturday night May 19th. If you have any interest in racing, or the
smell of racing fuel...(sniff sniff)
and have never seen these 1000lb rockets on dirt...it's awesome. They do
over 100mph on a 5/8 mile oval. It's pretty sick, I've gotta go. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I used to live a few miles down the road from the Middletown track about 15 or so years ago - good times!

EDIT: You should check out Lebanon Valley Speedway up here, though - stocks, drags, etc. (Even a school bus drag race!)

I had a blast on go-karts recently, I'd like to rent one at a track if there's any decent ones nearby. Ive heard maybe Accord, northern Jersey and Danbury might have some worth checking out.
Anyone know?

My horsie friends, Jess, Liz, and myself, LOVE to go to demolition derbys!!! We were going to take my old car to one, but my father wouldn't let us. Instead we went to the tractor pull [at the Chatham Fair] under secret identities and participated in our game of mullet spotting.

Ok, "Mid Week Madness! Karts Quads Bikes & Lawn Mowers" starts Wednesday June 6th, and happens every Wednesday for the summer season. I only see one Demo Derby listed in October, but I am pretty sure they have more than one.

FTC outing!
