Motorized vehicles are having a ball on the trails. Please post here any signs of them, interactions etc.
Or, call the DEC Ranger @ (845) 249.6094

There were 6 of them all over the tails last night- Green Acres and Timbuktu included.
We didn't get close enough to take pictures.

Last night, around 6:45, I saw a beige junker Ford Explorer enter from the Taconic lot barreling down some of the single track in that area. The truck had no back window or plates and had some blueish gray spray paint writing on the sides and the hood. There two in the car, wearing caps and sunglasses. I will call the DEC number this morning.

I ran into a Ranger. His contact info should be used for reporting shenanigans. Hopefully with vigilance a rein can be kept on 909 getting trashed Exclamation

Lost my newer mini pump Saturday . Possibly burn, but likely in the gut.
Thanks

909 trail report from this morning’s dawn patrol - most trails west of the Tyrell road lot fire road are icey - some pure ice and some choppy ice. Studded tires recommended, but you might get by without. I rode the burn trail back to the fire road, then to watchamacallit. Then fire road up to beaver. All icey this morning but with due diligence possible without studs. Green acres no studs needed. Tunnel no studs needed but take it slow. Mustang and Mercury almost completely free of snow/ice.
