Yo all,

I'll be down Friday night dog sitting in Hurley on the way to Plattekill. We're getting a bit tired of the usual dinner spots (ie, Reservoir Inn, the Hickory) close by. What might be some happening places to eat and simuntaneously imbibe in the Hurley/Kingston area?

A couple places come to mind

New World Cooking. http://www.ricorlando.com

Alot of the food is spicey, but you can order how hot you want it. One of my favorite restaurants..If you do decide to go, you will need reservations. Be sure to order the blackened green beans for an apetizer......Great atmosphere, dress is casual. Its between Saugerties and Woodstock. 20 minutes from Kingston

If you want a liquid dinner Smile check out the local brewery Keegan Ales . They do serve sandwiches and wraps as well. On most Fridays they have a band playing........Cool atmosphere as well........Right in Kingston

If you like french bistro food, Le Canard Enchine is great.

If you like food with a Mediteranean flair, then Ecce Terra in uptown Kingston is a good place too. The owner/chef (Tony) will cater to your likings.
