Yes! The Escarpment loop is one of my favorite rides. From 18 take the Schutt Road trail to the Escarpment trail than take the Rock Shelter trail all the way back down to 18 or take the steep drop down Mary 's Glen trail into the camp ground . Ride is roughly 15 miles with a few spots you will need to hike. Some of the best views for riding in or area. There are a few other trails inside the campground park which will allow you to make a shorter ride. I'm almost be tempted to come up and ride.

you can also take pavement out of the park down the palenville road decent to the hardenburgh dec lot on left at the base of climb. From there, head up an excellent dirt 3 mile climb to connect to the loop around the cliffs.
By car, you are also about 15 min from roundtop and elm ridge-both awesome, easily navigable riding areas. _________________ If I can bicycle, I bicycle.

Good stuff is there. Scutt Rd, Artists Rock. Poking around is fun on foot or bike. Tech riding and vortex pull. _________________ Pedal, b*tches!! |

The book store in Saugerties may have the NY,NJ trail conference map which is very detailed. NSL is very secnic but extremely techincal riding.
Here is a link of a recent ride which includes the new deck look out at the Katterskill Falls. There is a rail trail which you can tie in with NSL and the falls and another rail trail starting at Clum Hill road the trail passes through Tannersville which is a nice town with some good eateries.

If not Round Top near by or Elm Ridge both awesome riding. Round Top have great riding and a beer garden at Riedlbauer's resort.
Have a good weekend enjoy! _________________ Best
