Get out the Gravel Grinder, Cyclocross, or 29'er hardtail for the trail rides. 18 or 28 miles of mostly all dirt with a few miles here and there of pavement.

Sunday October 11th: Road and Trail Rides

What: Second Annual O+ Bike Rides. Road rides of 50 and 25 miles (the 25-miler is new this year!). Plus the Road and Trail Adventure rides (17 and 28 miles over a mix of roads, paved and unpaved rail trails). All rides feature que sheets, Sag support, a post-ride BBQ at Keegan Ales and an O+ wristband for admittance to all Festival activities.
All rides start at 9:30am
Registration will be in the lower parking lot behind No. Front St.

-18 Trail Ride
-28 mile Trail Ride/Endurance Ride
-25 mile Road Ride
-50 Mile Road Ride

Why: The festival is all about art, medicine, health and the community. The bike rides give festival goers an opportunity to get out and get some exercise, see some great scenery in Ulster County and come together after the ride for fun and refreshment at Kingstons microbrewery, Keegan Ales.

How: An all-access O+ Festival wristband is required for the ride, and this year we have removed the suggested amount (last year it was $35) and instead are asking participants to pay What's It Worth to YO+U. For a $50 donation, youll receive a DO+NOR card good for a year of discounts at O+ "Blood Relative" businesses.

And rememberValet bike parking Friday evening and all day Saturday courtesy of the Kingston Land Trust and Bike Friendly Kingston. Festival-goers are encouraged to leave their cars at home!

Did this off road ride last year with Steve....fun event and great food and music after. We did a little technical section by table rock and in Hurley but the rest is cruisin rail trail. Can't do it this year but you should. Lots of spin and then beer! Razz

The last ride during a steady downpour was really fun...on a sunny day + Keegan Ales after...who could resist that?
I'm in, Thanks Steve!
