What: Bike repair at the H4H ReStore
When: Every Wednesday evening from 6 pm - 9 pm-ish
Who: Bike repair novices to pros. We have some basic tools but suggest you bring your own set if available.
Where: H4H ReStore at 406 Route 28 (next to the Hess gas station).
Logistics: Please park in the lower lot and use the main door entrance on the street level. The store may be closed, so ring the doorbell and someone will usually be nearby to let you in before ~6:30 pm.

All volunteers must fill out both a waiver and an application. We are also required to take the 'test' online to familiarize ourselves with Habitat for Humanity and their safety policies. I will post the link tot he online test post haste!

We need to fill out the app in person at the store.

Thanks!

The back story is the Habitat for Humanity receives lots of bikes that are in various states of repair. They are looking for volunteers to help repair these bikes to either sell at the store or give to the families that are getting a new home.

Here is the web site for the 'test'. www.hfhvolunteerinsurance.com
Scroll down to the box that says Online safety training course
Click on Begin now
Access code is W8NAEBTG
Click on Volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity job Site
Watch the video and take the quiz

This is a great cause and an opportunity to continue giving back to the community and spread the word on biking!

I clicked on it and it worked but the site says they are doing maintenance. Hopefully they are up and running again soon!
