Try beebe hill in austerlitz. A few friends and I took a ride up from red hook to take a look at this place. It started off a little rough, Took the not so fun trail. Almost decided to call it quits but met up with a local on a fat bike who showed us around and the place is really fun. Not a lot of miles (8-10) of trails but what is there is pretty entertaining well made and the guys had cleared the leaves. I believe the club is having an event next weekend 18th I think.

Thats pretty exciting to have an mtb group up there.

No big news for Stissing currently, but there is hope. And the DEC put up new markers in the spring.

Wow....both have different appeals.....no guns at Ferncliff and rumor has it that some-one has been blowing the trails there. But Jh has more miles of trails.....

Rode Ferncliff on Saturday, had a blast, stopped by Stissing on the way home, not so good, Sunday at Beebe was awesome, even with an ear splitting hangover lol

BTW a rider was hurt on Saturday at Ferncliff and had to be taken out by ambulance, best wishes for speedy recovery!

I checked out Stissing Mountain the other day. Trails aren't in great shape, but there are trails. I moved to Milan in the fall, and this place is 5 minutes away. I would be into going through and doing some work in the spring to make these trails rideable. Anyone else interested?
