Anyone doing this race? Didn't get to pre ride and have never done this race series... No idea what the course is like. First race of the season for this gal. Any tips or heads up?? Thanks!

I can't go because I am working, but I think I have done this race at least 5 times. It starts with a flat section in the grass. You want to get ahead in this part because the first singletrack there is always someone who gets stuck, but it's not hard at all. The race is more fun if it is muddy. It's not very technical at all and not a lot of climbing, so you should be fine even without preriding. I raced it in a singlespeed once. Watch out for Heidi, she always starts in the back and then passes everyone on the second lap Razz Razz Razz

hm I don't remember any super awful climb, I think there was not much climbing overall. If it is dry, it is going to be fast.
