Sorry to start another one of these threads, but I've been out of commission (and work) for a couple weeks due to a snowboard mishap. How are the trails? The new pics from 909 look promising. I'm anxious to get back in the saddle again, hopefully this weekend if my doctor gives me the ok Smile

I rode 909 on Sunday and I thought conditions were really good, much better than I expected. I didn't go back to the gut area but mustang, bike head, beaver all in good condition. Going to give Ferncliff a shot tomorrow evening we will see what that's like after all the rain tonight.

Despite some snow in the valleys & ice on Pond Gut Rd, the gut trails were in very good shape yesterday. Not just for the time of year but good to go.

Jockey Hill is good to go also.
There are a few spots on the Blue Ribbon Trail that have seen some erosion over the past few years and it might be something for the club to address. Spots where the trail is now below ground level and creating a way for water to erode even more. Maybe a minor re-route would solve the problem?

all good spring conditions as of 4/6. some erosion on monster in blue made a few difficult inclines extremely more difficult. no unmoveable deadfall found. enjoy

Like stated above, ferncliff was a little damp but not too bad considering the rain last nigh. Few muddy spots but that's to be expected. People have done work there and the trails are clean. My buddies and I moved a big pine off the carriage road. Took five guys but we got it.

Upper trails at 909 are in decent shape. Few of the usual spots are mush (bottom of Anthill after the steep drop, couple of low areas on Bykhed, same for Beaver) however, I'd say 95% is in good shape. Just rode early this morning.
