With all due respect... That line IS durable and with less roots. Race pace = taking chances, no?

True dat, (always pushing the edge)
Just please take a look at it...(when the snows gone)
I know it's 100% on me, just got me thinking about how it flows.

Rode snowmobile trax last night... They didnt ride everywhere, like connecting the two lots on the Snowmo is not ridden and your SOL. We took it down to the gut past Fisher, as an out and back.Tyrrel was ridden. Also out and back to TSP lot, about 1.5 hrs of riding on regular tires. The road out of the lot is pocked with foot prints = bumpy. For fat bikes you'll have more options, possibly Byk Hed.

I just came back from snowshoeing there after work tonight.
Saw Tim and Gordon attempting to ride the bikes.

Trails still snow covered, 6-10", soft snow tonight with frozen crusty spots in the shady areas.

Tim would be best to chime in on the riding tonight.

It's still good for snow shoeing.

Biking conditions... changing by the minute. @ 5ish the road south of Tyrrel lot to the TSP lot was 75% rideable w/heart rate elevated & skills challenged 45% over normal. As the sun set ice was more of a factor... still no bugs or warm soda.

The road was 75% rideable today. The only part of it not too good was near Whatchamaccallit. I tried to ride on a trail or two, but the snow was crunching through too much, and getting softer later on in my ride as it warmed up a little. Did 2 laps all around on the road with Rosebud and had a decent workout. Better than the trainer.

On Tuesday night there was around 95% wet snow up to 10" in spots.

Thursday night still had the same coverage but the depth was a little less.
I hiked off trail without snowshoes, but could have used them.

near Timbuk2
.

also near Timbuk2
.

Near Beaver
.

From the Taconic near rt55 the woods almost look free of snow but at 909 it's a different story.

There's enough good stuff. G & I have some new lights to run, so we'll probably be there past dark.

Still soft. Even Byk Hed. Fongs Way is perfect though.

Didn't get into the Gut-I imagine it is no good.

Mercury and mustang good, but some random wet areas. If this weather continues, should get better everyday!

Majority of BYk Hed was good-the easier way entrance was a stream.
