The trails packed by the snowmobilers are solid enough for all size tires. The fats are best. Even some off trail areas were firm enough to ride on top w the Pugsley. FYI and enjoy the cold.

I was out last saturday night, the snowmobile groomer was out, tons of snow. 95% of the woods trails hadn't even been touched yet by the moto crowd, and despite being on a fatbike the snow was too soft. The conditions now should be perfect, I plan on a possible ride this evening and definitely tomorrow.

Rode yesterday on regular old tires. Stay on the trails that have been well traveled by snowmobiles. Snow is hard packed, fast and grippy. Venture off of the hard packed and things get exciting quickly.

I went there Sunday at 2 pm on regular tires. The "roads" were ok, a little squirly in areas, the trails and lesser used roads were not ridable, too soft.

On saturday the roads were like white blacktop, I saw a few bikes and tracks. I aired down the mukluk to 2 psi fr/ 2.5 to 4r, 90% of the crusty virgin snow was exhausting but rideable on fatties. Hurry up and hit the snow before the temps warm up!
