I've been riding with some of the gang for a while
now. And I know who some peeps are. But I was
just wondering who's who on the forums here...
unless we're supposed to stay anonymous... Cool Cool

You know who I am Smile but I hear ya. I remember last fall I ran into a few people in the parking lot at 909 from here. We introduced ourselves with our screen names not our real names Very Happy

That the original intent of the "Introductions Please" post. I often use that thread for reference although, that post has gotten way off track so it's still hard to figure out who is who. Perhaps we should all post pics of our bikes for our avitar. That seems to be the way most of us identify each other anyway. Smile

Hi, My name is Samantha and I am addicted to biking. I have a Jamis Durango hard tail that is out of commission, a KHS singlespeed [that is for sale, hint hint], a Giant Trance 3, and a Giant OCR1 road bike. And a unicycle.

My biking habit has gotten me into trouble on numerous occasions, particularly when I am driving and I pass someone with a bike on their car and I nearly go off the road while gawking.

Samantha, if that unicycle doesn't get any usage, I would be interested in giving it a good home Smile

Here are my mountain bikes:

This is the single speed I usually ride, but it's getting tired and I fear that my luck with the reliable parts has to run out soon:

And this is my geared rig. Lots of fun.

I believe that was me (Beth) and Rob. We often ride with Chris (Forest_biker). I'm going into my third season of riding. I haven't been riding singletrack for long, but once I started, I was completely hooked!

As for my rides:

'05 Kona King Kikapu (the only thing that's stock, however, is the frame!)
'05 Kona Cinder Cone (converted to SS)
'07 Kona Jake the Snake (only the frame is stock as well)

As you can tell, I have little control over my credit card when I see Billy from Overlook Wink

I'm Tom and I like to ride bikes...fast...

I ride a silver Cannondale Prophet MX and a Cannondale Gemini DH. I used to race XC but got tired of the 3rd lap brain fart and starting racing Downhill where if you think you crash...

I like to ride everything though, XC, Freeride, Downhill, Urban, Road...really I love Flow...if a trail flows I like it. If it has drops, jumps, and log's, even better!!!

I live in Poughkeepsie right now but I am moving to Beacon this summer when my house is built!

I used to live in Tarrytown which is why I am part of WMBA (Westchester Mtn. Bike Assoc.).

My favorite places to ride are Blue Mtn in Peekskill and Plattekill!
