I know with an aluminum or steel seat post just crank it down , but how do you handle a carbon fiber seat post from slipping. If you crank it down too much, chance ot it cracking..........any suggestions?

as odd as it may sound I have heard of a lot of people using sidewalk chalk. Yes the kind you see kids writing on the sidewalks with. I personally have never used it but, the people I have talked to swear by it.

Make sure there is absolutely NO GREASE in the seat post tube. Clean it good, then try that.
If not, try the sidewalk chalk trick.
If not, well, time for "Plan C" |

Im on my first carbon post, and with them its no lube and torque wrench exactness.

A little bit of a chalk product, billiard cue or hand chalk, gym chalk , something along those lines should remedy the problem just fine.
For what it's worth, on METALLIC posts I use a teeny tiny bit of antisieze compound...
