Greetings downhillers & freeriders,
We are having plenty of fun on our skis and snowboards at Whiteface but I
have biking on my mind still.

We just wanted to give everyone a quick update on some of the things we ave
going on this
year at Whiteface.
Opening day will be June 22nd and we will operate daily till September 3rd.
Then weekends only till Ocober 15th.

We have been busy since we closed for the season last October planning a
full calendar of events for this summers mountain biking programs.
All events should be finalized in the next couple of weeks and we will send
out another e-mail and/or press release of events, pricing, programs, etc.

For the 2007 season those of you needing to rent a bike will have a choice
between our awesome downhill bikes or our aggressive all mountain bikes.
These bikes will range in size from 14.5 inch frames to 20 inch frames. For
the kids we have 24 inch wheel bikes too.
The bikes:
We have a brand new fleet of Giant Faith 2's. A Full 8 inches of travel and
weighing in nicely at around 43 pounds. Perfect for our terrain at
Whiteface. We even just installed E-Thirteen srs chain guides on our dh
bikes making them even better! They look sweet!

We will also have some great all mountain bikes this year. Giant Pistol 1's.
The Pistol is a full suspension bike with 5 inches of front & rear travel
w/hydraulic disc brakes. We even will have hard tails on hand for the cross
country rider.
The pads: (All pads are from Sixsixone)
You will also be able to rent chest protectors, full face helmets, knee/shin
pads and elbow/forearm pads at our shop right at the base of the mountain..
Available in youth to x-large sizes.

We are working with www.hcor.net this year to have a hcor day at the
mountain. Hcor day will be on opening weekend (6-23-07) and offer discounted
lift tickets, after dh parties, etc.
Also in the works will be a www.dropmachine.com day. "DM day at Whiteface.
As soon as all details are final we will let you know or you can easily find
them on their web sites.
