Those annoying loopholes that enabled some soft drinks to be labeled non-deposit and become litter hopefully will close with the bills passing.
A little known fact behind the beverage industrys opposition to the bill is that it prevents them from pocketing the unclaimed deposit$.
The new Bottle Bill will increase funds to buy and preserve NY park lands
